Vera Parks, an overly intense and demanding Broadway director, gets fired from yet another job, leaving her no choice but to take a gig directing a small town Christmas pageant in upstate New York. Stunned at how basic the production is, Vera attempts to back out, but is convinced by some of the locals to give their town a chance. To her surprise, the warmth and charm of the small town grows on Vera and she even enjoys the experience of directing the pageant. Kim Ji-Hoon stars as a government investigator in 17th century Korea. Kim Hyung Do (Kim Ji Hoon), originally an ordinary inspector for the government, rises in the ranks due to his single-minded drive. Chosen for a secret organization within the government which investigates unexplained phenomena, he soon stumbles across a series of mysterious, supernatural events, and sets out to discover the truth behind them. In his quest he is helped (and sometimes hindered) by Heo Yoon Yi (Im Jung Eun), a government employee whose enthusiastic belief in the supernatural stands in stark contrast to his own cool-headed logic. Wonderfully filmed and suspenseful, this drama skillfully weaves together mystery, drama, and a little romance in a heady concoction of science fiction and historical intrigue.

In a gray world, Henry created colors. He managed to trap them inside small glass balls to give to his sick wife, but he couldn't save her. From that day on, he began to produce colored balls non-stop, involving his four sons but refusing to share that incredible magic with the rest of the world and arguing with his youngest son, Stick, about it. Twenty years later, Stick returns home because his father is dying. The only hope seems to lie in a very expensive medical device, but only by freeing the color from the glass balls will Stick and Henry be able to reconcile and fill everyone's lives with beauty.
